| Today the Social Security office has announced that the monthly social security and Federal SSI benefits will increase by 3.3% for 2007. Please make sure you use this increase for all future move-ins immediately and when calculating anticipated income for 2007 for all your recerts. If you have not completed any of your December 2006 recerts than this increase should be in the annual income calculation by calculating the new anticipated monthly amount and using this figure for 11 months and the current amount for 1 month, (12/06). If some of the 12/06 recerts have already been completed and signed by your residents then you would not implement the increase until the January 2007 recerts for all residents.
